Source: USPTO Open Data Portal (api.uspto.gov) — PTAB trial proceedings, trial decisions, and appeal decisions metadata. Claim-level FWD outcomes are parsed from the Board's judgment language. Institution rates are computed per proceeding (petitions with an institution decision in the window); discretionary denials are reported separately from merits denials, reflecting the post-2025 bifurcated institution process.
